*We are asking all long-term parking riders to drop off their bikes and luggage with their charter before boarding the shuttles.  This makes the shuttles run more smoothly and safely and is easier for the rider in the long run to keep your belongings safe.

The long term parking lot will be open from Friday 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. and again Saturday 5 a.m. until the buses are gone –probably 9-10 a.m.  If you need long term parking and expect to arrive outside these hours, please contact us to make other arrangements.

On Friday, July 18-Saturday, July 19: Shuttles will run between parking areas, camping, showers, swimming pool, Highway 52 eateries and other businesses from Friday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will start back up at 5 a.m. Saturday morning.

On Saturday, July 26: Shuttles will run 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. between parking areas, showers, swimming pool and locations where team buses will be plan-parked.  

Note: Guttenberg is small – we will be identifying streets for 1-way traffic and working with residents to keep streets clear.  We don’t have many areas unaffected by RAGBRAI; therefore cars left on any street more than 24 hours will be ticketed and towed – please register and plan to park in the designated area. 

*Prices increase $25 for each parking category after June 9!

Note: Guttenberg is a small, quaint river town; there are no fast-food restaurants and the local eating establishments probably will not be open early enough Saturday to serve you.  We are asking that meals and sack lunches be ordered in advance so we know how much fresh, hot, Iowa food to prepare.  We may have a few extras for stragglers but cannot guarantee it… Please pre-order – we don’t want you to go hungry!!

Enjoy free camping north of the school on the banks of the Mississippi River in Ingleside Park as guest of the City of Guttenberg!  Camping space is on a first come first served basis but there is plenty of room. Restrooms and showers are nearby and close to the action in downtown Guttenberg.

Please do not camp on the grounds of the Veterans Memorial Monument near the school.
